This activation entails the following steps in order: & G protein–mediated activation of phospholipases, which leads to the generation of secondary messengers such as DAG and IP3 & Binding of the chemoattractant to the cell membrane and the release of G proteins & Increased calcium ion concentration in the hyaloplasm & Microfilament assembly aided by calcium
